FAQ
Roofer is played on the Spot, a 4×8 grid. Printable STL examples of the Spot are available on the Trashfire website and on MyMiniFactory.
A terrain kit created by Warkitect is also available.
You can easily make your own Spot using printing or a little DIY. Share your creations with us online!
A typical match requires 3 Roofer miniatures on each side. The round is played with only 1 Roofer miniature per team.
You will also need a Drone miniature for the camera and some tokens.
Each Roofer profile has a dedicated card for placing the Programming Dice; the cards are downloadable as PDFs or available on the Trashfire Shop.

Roofer is set in the Mars: Code Aurora universe and shares the Ares dice with its big brother. These are 6-sided dice, half of which are successes and the other half are blank.
Roofer offers a range of miniatures created by Rêvves Création and Trashfire Studio. Other creators will join the adventure to offer their own vision of the Roofers.
It is, of course, possible to use other miniatures from sci-fi ranges to play with your own miniatures.
The game is available physically on the Trashfire Studio website, while supplies last.
The game is also available online directly on the lulu.com platform.

The Red Hand
Fury
The Roofers belonging to the Red Hand are among the most violent you can find on a Spot. The Onis reign supreme and make it a point of honour to do everything they can to throw their opponents into the void.

Games rules
In ROOFER, you begin each turn by programming the actions you plan to take on the field, using your Roofer card and the dice you must strategically place. You still have the freedom to play them in any order you choose to adapt to your opponent’s tactics. You can stall by sacrificing a die.
Your possible actions: First, Move. The most agile Roofers can move diagonally across the field more easily. Interact with the opponent. This allows you to steal data if it’s in the possession of the team you’re playing against, push the other Roofer (sometimes into the void), or attempt an acrobatic jump to leap below them or the drone filming the match. Dodge allows you to avoid an opponent’s action. Finally, Transfer, which allows you to score a goal from a short or long distance. Shooting from a distance allows you to score more points but is, of course, riskier; a failed transfer can turn the tide of the match.
To play a game of Roofer, you will need the following equipment:
– A game board: Roofer is played on the Spot: a gridded playing area of four squares by eight squares.
– Miniatures representing your athletes, called Roofers. A team will have between one and three Roofers, depending on the game format chosen at the beginning of the game.
– A Drone miniature.
– Two Download Terminals, which serve as goals during a Roofers match.
– A Data token, which acts as the “ball”.
– Six Ki tokens (three per player) and two Boost tokens (one per player).
– A six-sided die per player, called a D6.
– ARES dice. These dice have a “failure” symbol on half of their faces and a “success” symbol on the other half. You will need four per player.
– Profile cards, specific to each type of Roofer, to manage the programming of the miniatures’ actions.
– Sponsor and team cards.
